Hecate is the queen of the three witches. she directs supernatural happenings and apprearances of the msterical apparitions.
It should be in the play because the witches give macbeth motivation to go and become king. And it helps the audience know what Macbeth is doing and why he is doing it.
It shouldn't be in the play because it doesn't look like Shakespeare wrote it because in one art Hecate is mad at the other witches for telling Macbeth that he will become king and then Hecate is glad that they did it
Macbeth page 23 Act 1. Sc. 3 "Two Truths are told" he is showing that two of the witches propheciescame true so that must mean that all of their prophecies must be true.
